Wake me ...

Wake me when I am dead,
Leave me when I am gone.
Trust me when I am alive,
Love me when I am torn.

Living like a bittersweet,
Hoping with a song.
Crying like a baby,
Cursing if I am wrong.

Life is like a mystery,
Everyday it confound.
One day we'll be history,
No matter how profound.

Missing not we didn't,
Cherishing what we have.
Creating what we can,
Footing on the wave.

A small life,
For long deeds.
A big price,
For dear needs.

Without being sad,
We remember our past.
Without being bad,
We will be on path till it last.

Nothing to ask for,
Except ...
Wake me when I am dead,
Leave me when I am gone.
Trust me when I am alive,
Love me when I am torn.

dude o dude,
I always start comments on ur blog with this call...
because you always tend to surprise me...
Your hindi-urdu poetry in the search of soul and this one are really insightful. I especially liked the hindi-urdu one....Its a search that every human continues till the end of his life.(watch Meenakshi by MF hussain..though I hate MF the subject of the film appeals to anyone who has written something in his life.)
