Proud Indian?

OK! So you are a Indian? A Proud ONE ? I mean are you a PROUD INDIAN? Yes, you are !! Well, happy to know that ! Since when ? OK, that is not significant, let me ask you what are you proud of ? I mean since you are a Indian alright and pride on that fact, there has to be some things of which you are proud of! Tell me about it. OK ! Let me guess, maybe you are proud of the Rich Indian Diversity, 25 states, more than 28 languages, more than 100 dialects, 6-7 religions, great epics like Ramayana & Mahabharata, a rich culture, geographical diversity, ................. and so on! Did I miss something, I lot I would say, because this post is not about India, but it is about us, Indians.

Now, I guess you are reading this post, from the comforts of your home, or from your office. Just take a moment off, and look around you. What do you see? A telephone made in China/Taiwan, a monitor of LG/Samsung made in Korea, a Intel/AMD based CPU made in Taiwan/USA, a TV of LG/Samsung/Sony made in Korea/Japan, a DVD Player Philips make, Ipod, Apple Make. Whoooof !! Ok, so u from the richer classes, so maybe you have the French Furniture, the German Car, the Italian Clothes, the Chinese Cookware & maybe the American Kitchen. Well, maybe we have the Indian Chocolate, the Indian Milk but hey you can always get the Nestle Milk Powder, Nestle chocolates and the famous Swiss Chocolates, Loreal Beauty Accessories, Pantene Shampoo, Gillette Shaving Cream & Razors, Dove Soaps. Isn't India just great !! We are everything we are not famous for ! OK one last question, where are you working right now? Wow, was that Siemens, you said or is it ABB or maybe Infosys doing some offshore work for the guys in the US, thats so good, and you are happy about it !! Nice to know that.

PS: I am not done yet, in fact I have not even begun !! Would write a lot more, when there is a passionate inclination to do so !
